Some of the big-ticket items include:

Midland Public Hospital - the $355 million redevelopment of St John of God Midland will significantly boost capacity with funding for more beds, operating theatres to undertake more complex procedures, and a redesigned obstetrics unit. These upgrades will greatly benefit our community and future-proof the hospital against a growing population. The Cook Labor Government's confirmation of an additional $50 million on top of the $105 million already committed to upgrade the Emergency Department and specialised mental health unit at Midland Hospital is exciting news and proof that we will never stop working towards ensuring the people in the electorate of Midland live in the healthiest state in the nation.

METRONET Midland Station - The transformational $417 million new Midland Station opened on 22 February 2026, marking a historic milestone for Midland and Perth. The construction of a modern, better-connected station has been a long-held vision for many in the local community and is helping drive the ongoing investment and growth of Midland.

Binar Community Hub - Binar Futures' new multi-use sporting and community hub in Midland is closer to becoming a reality, supported by $18.5 million in funding from the Cook Labor Government. Once complete, the facility is expected to be used by thousands of students, community groups and people from regional and remote WA, providing a range of spaces designed to support sport and active recreation, cultural education and youth development.
